  • My max is really slow in water

My max is really slow in water - I new to the max IV. I drove it into a pond and it took
for ever to get it out. It also grinds when I turn at slower speeds. seems to be OK at faster speeds.
    What do you think
    Thanks in advance

These things are no speedboat. Keeping that in mind, do you have the Rawhide III tires? Are they mounted pointing chevron up when viewed from the front of the machine?

The grinding might be normal transmission chatter, but it could be a misaligned sprocket.

Hey man i grew up down the road from a guy that always had a hustler 6 wheeler and he kept the front tires with the chevron pointing down. I found out later that was a good idea as my hustler had excellent traction coming out of the water & it was able to back up in the water with a mean rooster tail via the front tires. ps i had to clarify 6 wheeler because my other neighbor still has a hustler 3 wheeler.
