Hello to all! I am first time 6x6 purchaser. I bought a 2000 max iv. I was wondering if there is a place to just buy a snow plow and a winch mount for my machine, and how hard is it took hook up? Seems like the gas tank is located to close to the front of the machine and there is no frame to bolt to for strength on the winch mount. If anyone knows where I can find a plow and a winch mount I would greatly appreciate it!

First off, welcome to the board and the wild 'n' wacky world of amphibious all-terrain vehicles. You can post your wants here on the board, but you may be in for a long wait. If you don't mind buying new you can contact Recreatives directly thru their site and buy your plow kit from them in either 48" or 60" (though I believe the wider blade requires the snow tracks). The winch will be handy throughout the year beyond just lifting & lowering the plow blade. It will mount directly to the face of the front upper body; you'll have to drop out the fuel tank, and mount a reinforcing plate on the inside wall fo the Max IV body in order to strengthen the winch mount plate on the outside, then put the gas tank back in and you're in business.
