new owner max II 6x6 help

what is the momentary push button on the dash used for? also i have the 2 cyl 440 2 stroke and have bought an 18 hp vanguard with the torque converter and mouting plate off another max what else will i need to make the swap and what ele needs to be changed out thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the site. That switch could operate a number of items but my guess would be a heated throttle cable or a bilge pump?

Follow the 2 wires & see where they go. It may not even be wired to anything. Never seen one on a Max.
