Looking for help with a cable

Has anyone ever had any luck custom ordering a cable? My Max II needs a throttle cable and I was thinking of getting one made with a nylon lining on the sheath and stainless cable material. Don't know how cost effective it might be and haven't even priced out one from RI or Richards yet. What is everyone else doing and what types of costs are you guys seeing?

I've always gotten cables from ri and like the heated option. the most cost effective way seems to be getting a bike brake cable kit from Wal-Mart though.

i bought 2 kawasaki snowmobiles this fall to get an engine for my maxll.1 was rope start, okay for emergency back up, but not 1st chioce for a max with a cab. so the other 1 is electric start, but dual carb and oil injection. so i need a cable about 6 feet long to join to the junction "thing" where the other 3 cables come together. any ideas other than "cobbling" a bicycle cable?
