  • Starter problem?

    i have a older max II and when i hit the starter it will pause then go like it has lag. even when i give it some throttle to start the engine will stop turning over. is it normal or is it a bad starter or bad starter solenoid? Any imput is appreciated thank you.

    Could be...or could be low battery voltage.....or could be a bad connection. Start by checking all connections are clean and tight, then test the battery. Last you can take the starter to a rebuild shop and they will test that for you.

      Dont forget a "Wicked" starter wire as well. Ive had thsi on vehicles, they pull alot of voltage outta the battery but not all at once, kinda like a build up....then WAM they kick in.
