Think you mean fuel SHUT off. It's either a push-pull, toggle switch or most likely a brass valve between your gas tank and the fuel pump.

I would say that you push it to shut your fuel off. That sounds like something someone added to your machine.

My amphicat has a fuel shut off in the dash like that push to shut it off an pull to open. Mine was factory like that. I've tried finding another one because sometimes mine will leak some an I haven't been able to find one.

I cant remember exactly but I have took them apart and Im pretty sure you might be able to replace some O rings in it. Might be an option for you.

i love mine. i use it daily. lol Same as the others, Pull to open, Push to close. Could do without it, but heck..why not just use it! lol
