Cardinal rule to install tracks is to remove middle wheel, take a shop vac and suck all the air out of the tires, this way they will totally collapse way in on four sides. You have to remove the valve stem to to this then after sucking the air out you have to immediately put the valve stem back in or the tire will re-inflate from atmospheric pressure. As to 22" tires if these are Max factory tracks this will (if you can even get them on) over stress not only the bearings but put you in very high risk to break an axle. Should be 21" tires with no more than 4 PSI. I knew a guy who broke his rear axle effortlessly by inflating to 8 PSI on a Max IV , this with 21" tires.

This is a great tip. Thanks! I used a combination of ShopVac Micro-tool attachments and an inflator nozzle to suck the air out. This works much better than collapsing the tires with a ratchet strap. After deflating the tires, it tool about 5 minutes per side to get the tracks on. Two people would make it go even faster.
