Max II seat/floor mod

Another Mod. After reading about the seat/floor mods I decided to give it a try. I cut the floor off above the hole for the shifter. I found that this caused the floor to bow in, then I added a 2 inch strip of aluminum to the seat portion. This extends over the lip of the floor when the seat if put in and holds the seat and floor very well. Not bad for a guy who has only been in the 6x6 world fot a week.

One of those mods I saw had the cut in the middle of the shifter hole. I guess that would give the seat and floor some strength without having to add the metal.

I did it last week and went to the center of the shifter hole because that is what I had seen done. It is unnoticeable unless pointed out. It makes it so much easier to remove the floorboard or lift the seat.
