Stability on water should be good... you could even bring the family dog to run on the tires like a tread mill! LOL

Turning has to be tough on the running gear. Too much grip is not good for the transmission and chains. Does look cool though.

Think about what the axles and bearings would be saying if they could talk.

                I seen it in action

I believe that the photo of the Max II with all of the tires on it was at an event called the Max A Rama held in Newago,Michigan back in "98". My wife and I decided to check out an event and the dealer named Les who put it together with a friend of his who owned the land we rode on.

As I recall the folks were a little stiff and there was some tension in the air regarding something that did not interest me.

There was a Max II running around with 24 tires on it and it really was not too impressive, the only thing it could do that was remarkable was you could walk on the tires in the water with out it tipping.

I actually have a video from the event and I was running a Max IV with a green body that I conned Recreatives into letting me have pressed out by the company in Muskegon,MI that vacume forms the poly bodies. At that time they were only offering tan bodies and that as not enough for me.

Hey SRG121 I believe that machine in the picture is called a Grizzly. They were powered by a 18HP flat twin Briggs 694cc I/C engine and were produced somewhere in Ontario, Canada by a company called Trans-Tec. The distributer for them in the United States was based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There was one for sale a few months ago just south of Chattanooga in Adairsville, Georiga on ebay. I think it sold for around $2500-$3000.

Imagine loosing a bead on one of the inner middle tires!. Or better yet buying a whole set of fronier tires for it!

Probably be pulling all the tires once a month anyway, to put axles or bearings in it

K & L Industries or Thermal Form Products

Many of the paddle boats, playground slides and garbage cans you see are made in Muskegon by K & L---Thermal Form Products. They make the Max bodies and it is rumored made Attex bodies long ago, buts thats just a legend.

                            I live up near Wolverine.
