#6648 was probably built in 1979 or 1980 by my records. RI can give you the build date and what dealer sold it. Once you get to drive it you will be hooked! Have fun

ok took some pics today....i havn't cleaned anything yet other than brushing crap off,

there are a couple of the whole unit, some of the tub, the sprokets, motor, the place where a tranny should be....lol and just overall beginning condition.

                the motor is OH160 and the tires all hold air.....other than that....give me all the opinions ideas and info you can people2011-12-02 14 40 18.jpg2011-12-02 14 34 07.jpg2011-12-02 14 38 33.jpg2011-12-02 14 35 28.jpg2011-12-02 14 34 30.jpg

So some other transmission was mounted in there?

I would suggest to not even try running it with those chains. Unless they are better then it looks. When a chain breaks it can wrap around the axle sprocket and then it binds up on the body. Sometimes it can even crack the body right there under the axle sprockets. Looks like a project but when you get it done it will be a blast.

Its a project. I would suggest a full rebuild. Go all in on this one, but wait till you find a t-20 for it. Without that its not going to be worth much for off roading. You may wat to look for a doner vehicle to steal the tranny from, you know busted up tub with a siezed engine type macine. There are some good folks on here that may be able to sell you a used t-20, but I would avoid acomplete unit from those other websites. Once your tranny is sorted the rest is easy. The engine is an easy upgrade to a briggs if you want, tires hold air and you can always add slime, sand and paint the frame, change the bearings, new chain and your in business. Sounds so easy just insert a few choice words and bloody appendages randomly during the process for a more realistic view.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!
