How to grease a Max lV?

What is the secret to greasing the inner-bearings on the front and rear axles of a Max lV? There does not seem to be enough room for the grease gun to access the grease fitting. What is the solution? Thanks

You can use a flexible extension to get the extra reach you need. I have an 18" and a 24" rubber flex extension and use them all the time, it makes lubricating the machines so easy.

You can also get a 90 degree coupler for your grease gun. It is a slotted design that allows you to slide onto the zerk at a 90 degree angle instead of having to go straight onto the grease zerk.

I went to NAPA and bought a side mount grease gun tip for those bearings.

I have no grease fittings on the inner bearings of my Max IV...
Were certain years without?

You may have brass inners, nothing wrong with those, its just a different type of apparatus for a bearing. Many older machines have them. They work just fine and I've seen many original vehicles that are 30+ years old and they still do the trick.
