Recreatives is probably your best bet, guys. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511 I think their newer gas caps even have the fuel level gauge built into them."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

I need one as well. The clear plastic on mine was repaired. It now leaks and is also faded. The level also fell apart inside the tank.

I just got off the phone with recreative, cap with gauge is not available for max II, he said only max iv....forgot to ask about buffalo. He said the gauge from a IV would fit mine but wouldnt be accurate because the tank in the max II is tilted where as the IV is not. I just ordered the standard replacement for mine, 9 bucks, said the one the IV was $16

I've got one off of a junked riding mower. I think it was a Poulan but won't swear to the brand. Anyway, it's identical to the one on my Max II & I have it for a spare. I'm curious about one with a gauge tho, for a Max II. What' it's too much trouble to lean down & look at the tank? I can't imagine a better 'gauge' than seeing the level in the tank itself.

A lot of older riding mowers used that identical black plastic gas cap, although many had the built in "bobber" type gauge. Almost all with the gauge are fogged so bad you can't read them... not that it matters, since the floats are mostly froze up or broken off. Too bad RI doesn't upgrade to the larger 4" caps, sure makes filling quicker, with less chance of unpleasnt back splashing.
