  • Bilge pump in Max II

Getting ready to mount a bilge pump in my max 2 and was just wondering if anybody helpful hits maybe what size or where to run the discharge hose. Common sence tells me it needs to be in the back sence the weight of the motor is in the rear. Also where to buy

hi I am doing the same thing I got mine at Canadian tire not sure if you are Canadian or not but I got everything from them. I personally chose one that you need to flip a toggle to turn it on some have a float switch built in. A guy I know told me he also added a screen filter around the pump itself to keep the larger debree from plugging the pump up. I also am going to mount the exit hose in the front so I can see if it is pumping out water and when it runs dry.

I got my pump from Walmart for $18 and my hose from Bass Pro Shop for $8. I mounted the pump to the tub in front of the engine and I ran my hose out the side so it wouldnt get caught up with the hinge when I lower the upper tub.
Hold My B..R and Watch This!!!
