thanks...that's what I thought also...just about got all the bugs worked out...
When you guys do the solo seat conversion what do you do with the steering levers and shift lever? Do you try and relocate them a little farther back?
I left my laterals in the stock location and it has worked out great. The bucket seat will allow you to sit further back in the Max while still being able to reach the laterals. I can lean all the way back against the seat and reach them comfortably. I am 6'2" and this position put my legs in a great place too, where I can relax them or brace myself against the front of the Max if I need to, similar to how you can in a Max II. I debated moving them at first but after testing it out, I left them alone and I'm glad I did. It worked out great.
This was originally built for my wife so I used a track that allows us to move the seat forward for her and back for me. She is 5'4" and with the seat all the way forward, she had trouble reaching the laterals comfortably. I ended up notching the plastic seat on the front for the laterals and that allowed us to move the seat even closer for her. So I guess it ultimately depends on who is going to be driving it and how tall they are but I wanted to share what worked for me to give you some ideas.
