well i just got a basket case max II it came wiht a 12hp kohler in which i am sure isn't big enough for me. what i have found is a 340cc yamaha enticer 2 stroke and for about the same price a 18hp kohler 4 stroke. i have never owned or driven a 6x6 so just really not sure which would be better. just looking for some opinions. good and bad

What are you going to be doing with your max? A 4stroke is the preferred choice for the trails. They get better low end torque for pulling and playing in the mud, but are much slower. The 2stroke would be good if you wanted to race it. Its a "I wanna go fast" option. It is hard to go slow and can make trailridding more difficult, but if open fields and race tracks are your poisons, it can be a fun choice.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments! -
probably trail riding most of the time. about what should i exspect for a top speed with a 4 stroke? alot of the trails i ride have dirt roads that we ride to get to them. thanksComment

You will see a top speed of 20-25 mph depending on what size tires you have. The speed is of course limited only by the governor on the motor.
If you are going to be doing any trail riding at all, I would stick with the four stroke.Comment
