i found a 22hp koler engine from a garden tractor, shaft comes out the front on the tractor so i assume it horizontal shaft. will this work in a max IV? What origionally came in a max IV? anyone have parts i need both floor pans, a seat, engine base, and a T20. Im sure there are more needed. I have a starcraft i need to barder to get my max running. Also can get my hands on a wedge wth a trans if anyone needs that.

The Kohler will work very well in a Max IV. If it has a 1 1/8" shaft (which it probably does), you'll most likely need to get a 1 1/8" clutch. Many engines came in the Max IV from 16HP to 29HP, Tecumsehs, Kawasakis, Briggs, and Kohlers."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"
