  • Max II Windshield anyone?

I am trying to see if there is a need for Max II windshields out that. I know RI windshields run at about $610-$645 but I am a budget builder at times. So what would be a good price for a Windshield and are there any Max II owers out there intrested in one.

I'd say $250 would be a very fair price, and it would sell pretty quick at that price too.

It would have to be made using safety glass for me to be interested but still a good idea.

        Hi Cbass,
I know the one I got for the MaxIV from Country ATV is a scratch-resistant polycarbonate and it has held up very well.
I would think $250-300 range is fair. Being that UPS and Fed-ex is using dimensional package size and weight, shipping cost is going to be pricey.
        Good Luck,

All factory Recreatives windshields are made with safety glass and an aluminum frame.

You are right about the pricey shipping. I made my wife's out of aluminum frame and lexan. I think it turned out nice, just seeing if any others are looking to have one made if the price is right.

Yeah the windshield looks great, almost like from the factory. Great work Cory. We should do one for the Hustler also!

I'd be interested depending upon price. I think I'd prefer Lexan over safety glass. If I were to make one, I'd use Lexan.
