    Six Wheeler 3.jpgSix Wheeler 1.jpgSix Wheeler 2.jpg

We got this machine for Natasha. It is a 1999 MAX IV. It looks like it was never used. There are no stratches, chips, holes in the body or the floor. The guy we bought it from bought it new and put about 10 hours on it. And from what we can tell those 10 hours we very easy hours. She loves it and can not wait to ride.

We have to tear it down and replace the chains and bearings and we are going to move the seat back like in my machine. We may do a few upgrades to the 18hp engine too.

If it only has 10 ten hours on it why do you need to change all that?
    Btw, AWEsome shop!!!

The guy covered the motor but he let the rain in the body so the chains are rusted. Plus we always change that stuff just so that when we go on a ride we know there will be no problems. Thanks!

Good find, congrats! It looks like a great machine. Give the guys at Buffalo Bearings a call......they'll take care of you for the bearings (716) 874-1720.

Great looking Max. What a find. It's going to be weird not seeing you both in the blue max though. You made such a great team. Everytime I looked back, one of you was driving while the other was rocking to gain traction. What are you going to do now?

Thanks everyone. We are super excited about the new machine. Daniel is starting the tear down today actually. I can not wait for the next ride.

Mike - I am not sure. LOL I know it did seem to work good but hopefully without two people in it, maybe it will not get stuck as easy? Plus you know he will probably say if I am going to ride then I will have to get myself out of the holes. HAHA (with his guidance of course, I am sure LOL)

Haha. You may be the one telling him to get out of the holes on his own. You are right about only having one person in your machine though. When Jennifer and I used to take the Max II on trail rides together, we got stuck in places that she would normally make it through on her own without an issue.

I notice that when I am in the machine with him it seems like the machine kind of wants to go where it wants to. And when I watch the people who are not carrying a passenger they seem to just go right thru with no problems.

This is so true. The added weigh that isnt stationary because the other person is moving around so dang on much, makes the machine heavier and harder to control. Look at the the end of my video "Adventures at Busco" under the Busco thread. My cousin Malcolmn, who is 200lbs plus, kept moving and we ended up on our side in a bad way,,, it was fun thou. It will be easier to manuever now,, with only one of you in it, but if,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, you ever get stuck,, someone will have to dismount to come and help,, no biggy cause we are all around to lend a helping hand. I hope you got more pics coming?

I will make sure to take a look at that video. I hope to have some more pictures to post as he starts making all the changes to it. He is trying to get driveable today, and then we will break it down and start the modifications. I will try to add pictures as we go.
