  • Max II swimming video

hey all, has been quite a while since I have been on here! Been out with the atv out at my buddies property just about every weekend having a blast! He has a pond and about 100 acres of thick woods with trails anywhere we want to put them, with a creek running through the center....yeah I def want to get some tracks, the sand is killin me! anyhow heres a video of my max II swimming in the pond....its a link to face book, I hope it works for you guys! It moved pretty good in the water, it has the 21 inch rawhides. Fronts were reversed in this video, no I have them turned back around, and need to see which is the better set up. Enjoy!

If that was a 1 ton OX you would still be in the pond.

Yea, on the bottom of the pond.

Those 21" Rawhides are the fastest tire in the water for the Max II and Attexes.

After owning a Mudd-Ox myself I'd have to agree with you. A Mudd-Ox is out of it element in deep water.

I had the same problem with my max in soft sand with the rawhides.I think the problem is the rawhides are more aggressive tires and dig you down.I think runamucks would do a lot better in soft sand because they are less aggressive thread.

Thanks guys, Im really happy with the power it has in the water. The tires were new on it when I bought the thing in December....guy said he found someone who had left over supply of them. Mine has a 14hp in it, but I bought a 16hp carb from shane kearny that made a world of difference.

I had a really hard time with it last time i was out. The creek was up which made the sand super soft...I just kept diggin down and getting high centered in my own ruts...I was getting pretty frustrated. I really really want to find a set of tracks for it, cause I like the water speed the tires give, but want the tracks to help me when its not swimmin. Im on the fence though...the jeep needs a lift and tires, but the max needs the tracks...and a winch mount...dont know which to save for first hahaha

WoW! That machine was doing some serious motoring in the water!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
