  • Built New Wiring Harness Today

During the teardown/rebuild of my MaxII I decided to make a new harness as the old one had been hacked many times including using a boat trailer harness. Thanks to 6x6 I downloaded the factory drawing and luckily had all the required parts on hand including the factory plastic sleeve material. A quick check with the multimeter shows it's working correctly. Another step closer.

nice I like the look of neatly run wiring with proper solder connections it makes whatever its on look way more professional. Not to mention making it a lot more reliable nothing like a problem with wiring to ruin a trip. Again great job.

Thanks, I have always been a strong believer in soldering all the connections and using shrink tube. Last thing you need is a fire or electrical failure on the trail. The previous owner was a fan of twisting wires, cheap black tape and poorly crimped connectors which pulled apart.
