I've cleaned everything and will repaint the frame, repair some areas of the plastic tub, replace outer bearings, inner brass bushings, chains...etc. Have a few questions and will take any pointers...Thanks !!
I'll post some more pics as I move along..
Here are my questions :
1) the pic with the 3 parts in it..they were in the tub after removing the frame...Are they parts that's needed or things left from previous owner?
2) I watched Mikes vid on Axle/bearing replacement ( Great job Mike !) I noticed the bearing was put between the two bearing flange pieces and sealed with silicone...my Max had one flange mounted on the outside of the tub and the other on the inside ??
3) The brass bushings are 1"ODx3/4"ID x 1" long ...I should be able to get these and the chain at my local bearings& drives center ?
4)Some of the holes in the sprockets/axle are worn...would it be recommended to drill with next size bolt dia. ?
