Finally going to do this thing!

After having my Max IV in the garage for four years i'm finally going to get her going.. First thing is to remove the Kawasaki ta 440a and install my Briggs 18hp V-Twin!.. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated. I guess first thing will be to figure out how to mount the engine onto the old stand..

Glad to see you getting it back up and going.I never had a max4 but it should be fairly easy to fab a motor mount.I think you will be well satisfied with the 18hp vangaurd.Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Make sure you set your 18HP Vanguard up with the proper governor spring and change the driven clutch spring on the T-20. A call into Recreatives should get you the parts and any other advice you may need. Good luck with it and keep us updated.
