Max IV charging system

What type charging system does a MAX IV have? Is it an alternator or what. How many amps?
I am looking to buy in the next couple of months and I am trying to figure out a few things

If you are looking for information on a new Max IV with a B&S Vanguard, they do have an alternator with regulator and put out 16 amps.

According to my literature, the 1050 (and 950) model Max IV's have a 20 amp charging system. The 850 (23 Kohler) has a 25 amp system, and the briggs has the 16 amp system.
