How would you even configure that?

Dont say things like that, it throws my brain in "dont stop until you figure it out" mode!!

So much for the "Sensible, easy-going trail machine" this project started out as.

            Look out Ashtabula!

I'm tempted to delete George's post. How dare he remind you of your original project goals while we are simply coercing you into spending all of your money reminding you of your civic duty to utilize all of your design skills and build the biggest, baddest springer out there.

I mean, the name of the springer is Copperhead. Copperhead isn't a wimpy little trail machine that your grandmother uses to cruise from her carport to her vegetable garden. Copperhead is a beast. It strikes down any quad that gets in its way and is gone before they know what hit them. Copperhead needs to be a fire breathing, forced induction monster.

If only I had more money.....
As far as the fire breathing springer goes. That's the other springer sitting next to this one. My "Old School " springer racer will be ready for Ashtabula next summer. I have replaced the 440 FA Sachs with a LC cat engine. Lets just say the 600 triple didn't fit the chassis so we went slightly smaller.

Whipper received some of the parts from the power coater.

It has a tan body. I will build a cage for it and make it the same color.

I hope you have started a new thread on the Max forum to document all the changes and pictures. This machine is going to look great Marc!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

The Copperhead Springer kit was picked up today, on it's way to New Jersey.
It even has a Frageelee sticker on it.
Looks like you got a little work to do.
I cast my vote for the Al Hodge eagle 4

                              Whipper
Will be busy this weekend finishing up the chassis mods and cleaning up the body. The Eagle 4 should be a nice fit . But for the price I can buy a nice 4 stroke sled engine with twice the power.
