  • Popular Mechanics has no idea Mudd-Ox exists

I just read a review of the Argo LX 8 wheeler in a 29 June 2016 email newsletter from Popular Mechanics in which the writer Ezra Dyer tests out the Argo LX and says that there is nothing else out there like it. He obviously has never heard of the Mudd-Ox. It seems like this would be an excellent opportunity for Mudd-Ox to get some free publicity by contacting PM and setting them straight that the Argo definitely has some competition and from an American company at that. What do think Mudd-Ox guys, are you going to take this opportunity to get your name and brand out there by having PM test out a Mudd-Ox? I guess we'll find out if we ever read about a test of the Mudd-Ox in PM (or not). This tip is free, if you would like me to help you out in the future send me a private message and we'll see what we can work out.

HP, I am not a Mudd-Ox customer, just a guy who thinks they need some serious marketing help with their product, I've offered to help them in the past but they didn't take me up on my offer and so they continue to be unknown to most of the world, the latest example being the staff at Popular Mechanics magazine. Some organizations can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to getting the word out about what they do and what they make. Oh well .......

It's a ironic because RI ran Max ads in PM from the 80s to maybe early 2000s, going by the print editions that I remember looking at.

You know after talking with Matt, he knows there is some marketing to do, at the moment the concentration is on product development and production efficiency. I would look for some marketing moves in the near future that may get some notoriety for Mudd Ox.
