      thanks mudbug,

I'm still working on getting a few short video clips uploaded that the wife and I took. I'm having fits trying to get this Mac laptop to interface with the camcorder. More to come........hopefully.

        Okay,

One down. I have a few more if I can get the time to get them on here. They are all short clips. This one is the Ox hard at work, dragging a pretty good load out of the woods.

Mark, Looks like the Ox's did just fine out at Jims Creek. How did the windshield do on fogging? You could not have had a nicer day to ride. Warmer yes nicer no. look forward to hearing more.

Hancock, Isn't a MudOx suppose to be a little dirty? Great looking ride even if it is dirty

            And........here are some more.

As you can tell from the pics, it's a little dirty right now and has been used more for work than play here lately. I heat my home with a wood furnace and we use it quite a bit to carry wood. (although it is awful fun as a toy as well).

On the close-ups from the left side, you can see the camo "flaw" just above the rub rail. It isn't really too significant as far as we are concerned, (it is the black area just below the exhaust port and towards the front.

I took a couple of close-ups of the back end passenger area. We have the side cushions out right now and I have been using it to haul stuff in. I have hauled wood in it, but have gotten a little sawdust down in the chain housing, lower tub area. I'm in the process of trying to fabricate a bed liner out of some stable matting and some sort of material that I haven't come up with yet. I sent Matt an email a while back that a bed liner would be a good accessory, but that email must have gotten lost in his spam filter.

The half cab is very handy for our needs and you can roll the sides up, take them off, etc.

Jim Bob, the dog, doesn't come as standard equipment.

            Hi Stan,
I am glad to see you are putting the Mudd-Ox to work!!! Your email must have went to the spam filter. I have adjusted my spam filter but I still get way to many spam emails. I have a rear cargo area bed liner. The bed liner will be made avalible in the next month or so. I will post photos as soon as the testing is done.

            Matt

            Nice photos and videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems odd, the mechanical sound of the Mudd Ox is as familiar as my truck, having heard it a few years since day one of testing. Now it's a product being shipped all over the world. I see you manged to get the wide screen aspect ratio on youtube.. it's a 640x360 display window. Half of 1280x720.

One more video of the Oxen playing at the start of the Iron Dog snowmobile race (2000 miles long) now famous because of Sarah Palin's husband Todd. She was there to start the race. The Mudd-Ox garnered a lot of attention there, we even used the tracked black one to pull out a stuck pickup that 10 guys couldn't budge.
the videos show the true zero turning radius of the Mudd Ox on tracks and tires. Check out the kids face plastered against the windshield in the red one as he holds on to the hand grip- his brother was driving!
                  enjoy

I have one more HD video to download but it needs some editing first

Akexpress: These new machines seem to be the hydrostatic that I am looking for, however I cannot get past the main page on the muddox site. Can you post some contact info so I can get some spec's. Don't get me wrong I love my Argo Avenger but to be able to reverse rotate the tracks would put me in LA LA land. Thank you for your help

A Little Help Plowing with the Mudd-Ox

There is nothing like plowing with a Mudd-Ox. I know there are plenty of loyal Argo customers out there but this Mudd-Ox is on a completely different level. It really isn't fair to compare the two from a plowing stand point. I can go forward and backwards instantly and with my winch switch on my left lever my hands never come off the controls. No stopping(letting the engine wind down) and shifting into reverse; I have the ability to back up just a couple feet and then go forward again with out ever taking my eyes of the work. Also sitting all the way forward gives the operator a better vantage point of the plow. I will post videos of the Ox plowing when I get more snow. I just can't seem to leave the snow on the ground long enough to get a video camera out.

Here is the last of the video from last weekend. the hills that we are playing on are a terminal moraine for the Knik glacier. They are made of very fine glacial silt and are loose and slick. there was ice in many areas and was a good test of the machines. Most times there were 4 adults in each machine except when someone was filming.
                          Enjoy

I spoke with Matt about the Muddox on the phone the other night and it is obvious that the builder of the machine, Matt and his family are very passionate about the Muddox and they believe in the machine and it's qualities. I could sense the excitment and pride that they have in this awesome product. The price is right for what you get, especially for the standard equipment that comes with the machine. For myself I see a trip to Alaska in the future to demo one.

Looks like my 04' Avenger will be for sale soon,,,,
