I googled canon gl2, and the first thing you'd need is a firewire cable from camera to a firewire capable computer. The cam uses a 4 pin connector, and a computer uses either 4 or 6 pins. So you'd need either a 4-4 pin cable or a 4-6 pin cable. That would allow video transfer to your hard drive. Then editing and handling your video would be the next step to figure out.
