Nice pull, but what I want to know is what kind of "Fly Swatter" you hit the moose with that allowed him to get into the water in the first place

Good guess. It was 52". 300 Mag through the lung. He just happened to be close to the water.

300 WM? that's my favorite, have a couple of those right now. I load them up with 190gr Hornady SPBT's. Excellent combination.
I had a 300 Rem SAUM, a 300 WSM, and a 300 RUM, but I got rid of those. Still have my 30-378 WBY though, that's also a favorite of mine.

My Moose this yr had 2 tines on 1 side, one tine busted off, and the other side was a 7 point. Kinda messed up, but good to get him out of the Gene Pool.

You just priced a fully equiped diesel mudd-ox. When doing that you should compare it to a $60,000 fully equiped Argo Centaur. A base gasser is in the lower $20's and actually comes with a winch.

And don't forget a roll bar and grab handles and a skid plate are all stock. I didn't know I got that good of a deal when I got mine. I got a Top, 2 winch, plow, tracks,tub for the back, and a radio all for way under 40,000.00...... Cougar

You certainly get what you pay for..wouldn't take two of the others for what I have with my Ox.
I'm not into slamming other rigs, but I am very satisfied with my Ox. Nothing else I have owned comes close!
It was hard for me to find everything in one unit, but I have done it.
