  • So I have this Ratcliffe...

    Greetings!

I mainly only joined this site to find some information on this Ratcliffe I have.

I did find one thread that was decently helpful, but I guess my real question is its value? I found that Clay Ratcliffe was making them, his shop was actually about 10 minutes from here (Evergreen/Idaho Springs) I found the original prints for his advertisements with help from a few locals.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    6 wheel, 12 wheel, tracks

Just wanted to welcome you to the site. I can't help you on estimating the value but hopefully someone on here will be able to at least give a ball park price. That one looks to be in good condition and the 12 wheels / tracks look impressive.

I think you would have to compare the Ratcliffe to other snow machines as opposed to the 6x6 / 8x8 market. That thing is in a different category than the machines here.
It looks like alot of fun. Nice body design.

        Thank you for the responses

I see the thread was moved also, sorry about that.

The tracks and wheels are removable for 6x6, so I wasn't sure if that mattered

          That is a cool machine

          Does it float?
Why do we waste tax money on bridges and roads when we can all just drive AATVs

No problems there. Brand specific questions go in the "other" section. A question that spans any brand goes in general.

            Again, not a big deal.

Back on topic, we see those Ratcliffe's pop up for sale every now and then but it always seems that nobody knows a whole lot about them. jpswift1 has dug up some good info in that other thread you mention but other than that, there's not that much out there.

Let us know if you find anything more out on your own.
