  • scrambler steering

    i have been trying to bleed the steering system,i get it bleed okay but as soon as i take the grease gun off it starts seeping out the grease zert,is the zerts bad or what,gary

    The zerk should have a screw on cap with a gasket or o-ring inside to seal it . With out the cap it will leak.

      can a ,guy find new ones these dont have any caps, is there anything else a guy can do,gary

        I would just find the right sized plug and replace the grease fitting. Then just bleed them like normal brakes.

          Install a 1/8 npt shut off valve.My bleeders were leaking on my scrambler also-I installed the ballcock.There are pictures of what I did somewhere on this site.

            There are leakproof grease fittings you may want to try.
