    thanks to jpswift1. got some chrome rims. 2 of the origional ones were bent and 3 were so rusted and pitted i jb welded some holes up on the inside so they would hold air

      Those are going to be a great addition to such an awesome project. Anything less wouldn't have done the paint job any justice.

        thanks mike. i did like the look of the white but the rims were shot.they already started to rust again. got it into a roller today

          WOW!!! This is by far the BEST Lockley Wrangler I've ever seen. I really can't stop staring at the pics.......this machine is done up perfectly!

              That is phenomenal. It takes talent to do the planning, assembly, fabrication, paint, and project management to stick to a project of that scale. That is something to be really proud of.

                  THANKS GUY'S

                  made the seat boards.got the foam on the backrest.the bottom foam is still decent.seat cover is getting made by a friend as we speak.





                  engine is back in for good now.modified the snowmobile belt guard and battery box





                  had to put new bearings in the front cause the pc'er blasted and coated the races.also new seals and chrome dust caps



                  getting realy close. hoping to get it going this weekend.won't have the seat but oh well i'll just sit on the foam

                    Talk about momentum. Your build is moving along at full speed. As for test driving it sans seat, I drove hydromike's super swamp Fox without any cushions on it at all when he was building it, and Jpswift and I were driving a max ii around last Saturday that we are putting together without a seat, throttle cable, or even upper tub on it. No-one ever waits for a finished build to drive it around. just get some good video.
                    l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!
