This looks like a really awesome and capable machine, I want one....

I took a look at their web site, and translated it. Here are some of the highlights:

Price starts at 665,135 Rubles, which is about $21,750 US.

Engine is a gasoline powered, liquid cooled, 3 cylinder; producing 52 HP at 6000 RPM and 52 ft lbs of torque at 3500 RPM.

Drive system seems to be Comet clutches delivering power to a transmission apparently made by Argo.

Top speed is about 23 MPH.

Tub is made from HDPE, and comes from Canada.

The vehicle is 9.8 feet long, 5.8 feet wide, and 4.3 feet tall.

Ground pressure is 0.51 PSI.

I would imagine that a machine like this in the US or Canada ( which would cost even more ) would cost around $25,500 up to $29,999?

Depends on the exchange rate, normally you can buy Russian products for a pretty good price in the U.S.
Here what I see that I like, linked coil spring suspension that seems to work very well:
Blazing fast on terrain I would have to crawl over:
Handle bar steering:
Seems to swim because it floats so high:
Looks like an excellent machine in snow:
Excellent in musk egg:
Body seems very durable:
The tracks extent beyond the tub giving the machine an excellent approach angle.

What I don't like is the tracks are not an open design, in pure mud they would glaze over and there is very little clearance for mud above the tracks.

The machine looks impressive in their terrain but I want to see what it does in a Southern mud hole with NO Water and sticky clay like mud. My Tatou tracks glazed over and got stuck immediately. It would be interesting to test one in out in my terrain.

I agree with you. If the systeme is reliable that machine would be a good seller here. If the guy on the french forum is right with his description it seems very good. Hydrolic and so on. And the price is in the range.

I also like the way the tracks with coil springs and torsion arms help absorb some of the harsh impacts of driving over rough terrain.

Mudbug, I don't think that my avenger would go where that machine goes even if it had adair tracks on it. Also at that speed with the argo I'D brake my back. The suspension seems very good. If there were some to sell here I wouldn't upgrade my avenger with tracks and windshield. There would be a good chance that I trade my argo for it. There is nobody around here that go and take rides like some of you do. I just use my argo for hunting and fishing and going to my moose camp but unfortunately I don't have tracks yet so not very good in winter.

This looks like a very well built machine. From the looks of how far the ramps are spread apart as it drives into the truck, it appears to be even wider than a Super Swamp Fox. I really like how the tracks stick out past the front of the tub to grab traction before the front of the tub hits first and then you loose all available traction from wheel spin.

berbett/Jack...I've had a few Tracksters, still have 2 running. In stock form, the weak area is the engine. Being a 2 stroke it has no torque unless it is making some serious RPM, most of the time you had to run them against the governor at 5600 RPM to do any serious hill climbing, etc. I have converted mine to Briggs Vanguards,( 18 and 20 HP ), now it is a completly different machine, lots of power, and I usually don't run mine much over half throttle,( 1800-2000 rpm ), no need to. I have had mine in deep, powder snow, no problems, stays on top, you can stop and start up again, try that with a snowmobile, you'll bury the sled trying to get going again. Mud and swamps are no problem either. I shot a deer this year, he decided to go out in the center of a swamp and die, I drove out there with the Trackster, hauled him into the back and drove out, the water/mud,cattails,etc, was 1-2 foot deep. I like mine, very useful machine and very reliable. The hydro-stats are pretty bullet proof, just keep clean, filtered oil in them, they will last forever. They aren't fast, 12 mph with the 4 cycle engine and the optional 9 tooth drive sprocket, ( 7 tooth was standard ), but they go anywhere. They'll climb like a goat, that is actually where people got in trouble with them, decending a steep incline is more dangerious than accending. If you are going down a steep hill, commit to go all the way to the bottom without trying to stop, they are front heavy and with the incline of the tracks, if you try to stop mid hill, the front can tip forward and in extreme cases go completly over. Not a big issue if you remember what you are driving and drive accordingly. Hope this answers some of you questions...

Very nice. Like I said before, too bad they don't have any in north america. It's also funny that the signs on the machine were written in English. I wrote to them but I don't speek russian so I guess they couldn't find out what I was saying. I asked them if they will export some in our country ( US and Canada)

This is a really nice machine! I've some times run down small trees, but never at speeds like in this last video that you posted. That must be one really strong front bumper!

The yellow Viking has a 670 Honda GX in it and the green viking has a 750 Kolier in it

Pretty impressive tracked Russian AATV called a Viking

Looks like a cross between a Cushman trackster and a MaxIV. Also looks as if it would leave my Argo/Max in the dust. Looks like a fine machine!

The suspension looks a lot like a Trackster. I like the 4 seat configuration. It looks like a mechanical drive from the video but I wouldn't swear to it. Pretty interesting machine, thanks for posting it.
