  • Thinking on picking this up for a summer project.

    just wondering if anyone owns one or has seen one and can give me a little info on this, I may be picking this up pretty cheap, it runs good but needs a little worksnow tracker.jpg to me it seems it should have skis on the front.

    Member 25YOOPER has one. In the above link he posts a video of it in one of the more recent posts. As for the wheels and ski's, they came with both as options. I have never seen a video of one swimming, but they are said to be amphibious. I know nothing about the drive train reliability, but assume it is just a dual clutch set up with no real transmission as it steers from the front rather than skid steering like most amphibs. If that's the case, it would be very simple to keep it running, but I would still be concerned with finding parts for the tracks. If other sled stuff is universal or compatible, you may be alright.
    l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

      The picture in mynertz' post is of an Alsport Tracker, not a Lockley. The front shot does make them look similar, though.
      I don't really know much more about them, and no clue what sort of price they're fetching...

      ::EDIT::

      Just searched around a bit. Here's a link with some good Tracker information. https://sites.google.com/site/alsporttrackersnowmobile/

            Yup I linked the wrong thread. I was trying to post real quick before walking into an account, and thought the video was mentioned in his lockley build thread. I guess my memory is not as good as it used to be.

              It's better than mine. I had no idea Yooper even had an Alsport.

                hello mynertz

                we have one that runs and one for parts.
                just make sure the tracks and driver cogs are good.
                also make sure the trans is decent.
                i they let you i would take out the trans and inspect the gears. they are hard to find
                good luck and keep in touch
