  • Bazoo on the loose

Well this was my nephew's first time in the Bazoo, I told him to take it easy however he is somewhat like me, I did the same on the wet grass and flipped the thing. He at least was on snow and stayed upright. He didn't really grasp the concept that the harder you push the levers forward the more power goes to the wheels, he relied on full throttle. The belt is very worn and I'm trying to work out how to find the correct length belt so it will have a lot more torque. Well here he is:

Here he is getting a bit better. At the end in his excitement he knocked it out of gear, that slowed him down somewhat

      Hey,

That Bazoo looks pretty nice...is the hull metal or fiberglass?

As far as your belt, you can measure the width, then if you need a shorter one you can compare it to Dayco's website, which will have a list of the length and widths of belts. Once you find your part #, you can order it from a Dayco supplier like Advanced Auto. Here's a link to the page with the dimensions, remember to double check the width on the belt you need as that should be a constant value.

      Hammers should have warning labels.

The hull is fiberglass but I have added a stainless plate to the bottom as I have about 5 acres where the beavers have done there worst and left pointed stumps just under the grass level and I kept riding up them. I can only assume the belt I have is the correct length as it has the wrong engine and probably the wrong belt. I'm still trying to find the correct belt for an original Bazoo but having a hard time finding the easy stuff!
Anyhow, here he is starting to understand you don't need Wide Open Throttle to get it to go forward.

By the way Canadian Tire has a 2-way 1500lb water proof winch for only $39
