  • Hydratrek 6x6 on Duck Dynasty

One of my buddies told me there was a 6 wheeler on Duck Dynasty last night. I missed it (I was working on my 6 wheeler) so I went online and watched it. It's episode 36 Phil has what looks like a XT66 Hydratreck and they try to drive it through a beaver dam.

looks like a nice machine. They made it look like it was worthless. it should have drove over that little beaver dam.

Here is a direct link to the show: Tickets to the Fun Show Full Episode - Duck Dynasty - A&E The Hydratrek can be seen starting at 5:40

I saw it last night and thought it was some great exposure. Sure, I was disappointed when they didn't destroy the beaver dam with the 6x6 but I'm sure that was scripted. I was just glad to see the Hydratrek get so much air time.

I seen that. I have been wondering when they where going to park them yuppy side by sides & break out a real machine! I was pretty impressed with it until Godwin got in it.

No, on the Hydratrek without tracks, there is a wheel motor at each wheel. On the Hydratrek with tracks, there are wheel motors at the front and rear (four total) wheels. The middle tires just act as idlers if I remember correctly.

The hydratrek was at their warehouse a while back. I didn't think to ask Godwin about it.

Is there really a big enough market over there to become wealthy out of duck calls ? Or is it just bull for the tv ?

Is there a big enough market? Are you kidding me? The market for hunting & hunting accessories is tremendous. I met Phil back around 1992 when he was winding up his commercial fishing and just getting into wal-mart with his duck calls. Hey Jack since then his buisness has exploded.
