  • tire for amphicat?

Hey guys I've got a 75 amphicat with the original throw away tires on them. My question is what are my upgrade choices? Basically I need to know a good tire size and rim combination. Just want to get some affordable tires on it so I can use it I know I will also have to buy some adapters to go from three to four hole, right? Thanks in advance for any help Stan

Thanks for the prompt reply, wow if I had know I could get wheels and tires that cheap, these things wouldn't have been sitting idle in my garage the past two years LOL! Now my next question summit seems to be out of the Carlisle AT 101, they are backordered, would the Goodyear 22x11x8 Rawhide III work on the 7x8 rims? I have found a company that sells the Rawhides for $58.99 each, with free shipping, just a few bucks cheaper than the Carlisles, Thanks again for the help!

Just called and the last time they had them in stock was mid last year.

Yes, I called and even though their website says they are in stock, the lady told me that tire should have never even been put up on their website, then she said the closest she could come to the Rawhides was a Gator at about twice the posted price, I definitely will wait for Summit, and get those according to their website they will ship on about 8-5. I already ordered the rims and adapters from the links you guys provided.

Thanks again for the links and advice everyone!

My Amphicat restore project has the perfect solution to this issue, Dual Bead Lock Hubs. Amphicat Project - DIY Go Kart Forum
Watch where that lands, I might need it later.
