From a contact made on another forum, Tricart #3 has found its way to wildman’s fleet. This is a pretty nice original example, but needs restored… original, running JLO L230 engine, original exhaust, original uncut body, original tires, but rears not holding air (no surprise). Still has original seat pan and cushion. And to top it off, still has original tool kit! I’ve been following these trikes for many years and this is the only Tricart tool kit I’ve known to exist! About the only non-original items that I’ve spotted so far is the brake cable and sadly, only the remnants of the glue that held the serial number plate. This project is about 4th in line (not including Mrs wildman’s list), but will be a fun one to take on, once I get started.

Like a stray cat, this is one of those that found me instead of me finding it. On another forum, I was contacted by the owner about locating a belt and a chain for the unit. Later on he told me that he may be interested in selling for $X. I asked him to send photos and details. After that I said that I was interested for ½X. That was in April. Last week, he contacted me and said that he wanted it to go to good home and that ½X was ok, so now it’s in my shop. It was only 140 miles round trip (MD) to pick-up, so easy decision for me.Originally posted by dkesonset View PostWOW, You've been busy. Congrats on the new acquisition to the fleet Bill. Should be a fun unit to work on. Where did you find it? Need more details.
