    Hello all,
I just picked up a PPT and am going through it to make it Alaska backcountry worthy. It is in pretty good shape overall, the Onan twin runs good but not great so I'll be cleaning out the carb and fuel pump as it has been sitting on a trailer for a couple years.
It wouldn't drive when I bought it so I removed the engine and pulled the cover off the transmission and the double roller chain is broken, this appears to be a standard 1/2" pitch duplex chain so that should be easy enough to find but the real pending disaster is the gears in the transmission, the large input gear along with first and reverse gears have been run out of alignment so long that they are worn down to sharp jagged points.
Does anyone have a parts machine the would be willing to sell me these gears out of? Anyone ever try to find an aftermarket option for the gears?

I have done quite a bit of reading on these machines and understand Bob Cantin is the go to guy for anything PPT, would someone be willing to share his contact info?

Can't wait to get her fixed up and see how she does in the backcountry for moose and caribou hunting. I definitely like how simple this thing is.
