  • scrambler steering and clutches

    Hello,
I'm new to 6x6, just got my first one. Bought a scrambler that had bad primary drive clutch and sitting for 10 years. So the steering clutches are seized. I bleed the steering and as far as I can tell the hydraulic part is ok. Any suggestions or tricks to free up clutch and brake assembly? Very excited to see this machine going.

Post some photos . If its badly corroded it might not be salvageable.
First release the spring tension by removing the steering slave cylinders an loosening the nuts on the studs that the cylinders actuate. If the clutch plate is still stuck it may be because of rust on the pilot bearing.
