Ill jump in here. About three years ago I was told that there was going to be a tracked 8 wheel amphibious vehicle being sold in town for less than 15K. About 18 months ago I was at the shop where they were supposed to come from and saw a green amphib with a jet drive in the rear sitting behind the shop. I asked the owner what it was and was told " Chinese knock off Argo, we call it a Chargo".Asked a few more questions and was told "It came to us without any antifreeze and pushed out the head gaskets" This spring they called me saying parts were in hand, would I work on it if his guys cant fix it? I figured it would be my best chance to actually touch one but haven't heard since. drove by today and its not sitting where it was now??? If I ever get to lay my hands on it Ill post my opinion of the vehicle here.

That guy has been around for a while. I'm not sure why he is the only one pushing these vehicles or why nobody seems to own one yet. Kghills seems to be the only one that has even 'heard' of someone having one on hand (any pics of the driveline/trans?). When the chinese quads and side by sides hit the market, it seemed like they were everywhere overnight. It would be great if someone associated with this Chinese Argo would bring it to a ride for all to see. I wonder if there are any rides coming up that lots of amphib enthusiasts will attend, camcorders rolling? Probably

Matt usually brings his laptop to the trail rides. You can ask him to see all the pictures at Haspin. Maybe if you ask him nice he can give you copies to share. Make sure you tell him how cool all the old 6x6s are he keeps collecting just before you ask him though. Usually softens him up I have found.

I did as well.
I did a search, and found some pics marked as "Chinese 8x8" in Robinhood02's Photo Album. No idea if it's the same thing, but everything just looks a little ........ light.

Oh look what I found, hahaha! And not only is admin Mike brought up on here, but so are a few of us forum members........we'd be famous, if it wasn't for the fact that it's on some blog that nobody views.

He broke the rules of the forum and then got banned, but then twists the facts around and says he's the victim that didn't do anything wrong and that 6X6World "attacked" him. It kind of reminds me of something you'd see on an episode of "Cops" where someone gets pulled over and they find crack and a gun on him and he says something like, "Those are my cousin's pants, I didn't know that stuff was in there, you're just harassing me."

That guy appears to be an overgrown baby. He posted machines he never owned or had in his possession for sale on eBay. Them he attempted to promote them here on the site. Now he feels the need to complain about getting unfairly banned from our great site because he never imported a single machine due to his inability to find a way to get them here. His lack of success in breaking into the aatv industry seems to be his primary argument against his banishment from the site. He even claims that he was going to give all the profits back to his customers once his deal was finalized. Wow, what a load of BS.
