  • Hawks Hi-Torque

I separated the body and in the process I cracked and took chunks out of the top body layer. Iv since melted screen mesh into the top layer to form wire mesh body to melt new abs to fill them. But my question now is how do I mend the two body pieces together right? Let me know what you guys think is the best way thanks.

Hi Brian, The 1st gen attex's used rivets. I used backing washers when I put mine back together. I think my Hustler uses carriage bolts. Whatever's easier for you. Good luck Mike Duggan

You can put it back together any way you like. I might use a little bit of abs goo and washer backed rivets.

Rivets with washers will hold a lot of things together. Many adhesives will work as well or in addition to rivets. I would use a combination of both.
