Any good ideas for converting from steering wheel to lever controls. Something like a skldsteer. Only needs to move one way (pull sticks to engage clutches). Also looking for clutch info

Why change a nice system

well..I picked up this machine with hopes that it would be good at our cabin. I am learning as I go with the restoration but with what I'm finding as I go is a lot of questions. I have questions on the drive system. I believe that the springs are missing from the drive clutches and the ceramic brake disc are coming off. I took one side off yesterday and and now am trying to decide how everthing works. I believe that everything has to do with the springs that are missing.

I get you sorry I can't help but I like the steering wheel makes it more unique then the standard stick ones

thats ok. so little info out there on the sidewinder. learning more every day though.
