  • Terra tiger

I don't have a 6x6 yet. Looking for my first. I'be found a basket case terra tiger for $25. Supposedly the guy got it, tinkered some, and decided he didn't know what to do, and pushed it back in the barn where he found it.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks everyone.

Run away and get something with a t-20. The terra tiger has no reverse and is heavy.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

I agree with Drew, instead of pushing it back in the barn, I'd prefer to roll a Terra Tiger off a cliff. The T.T. was my first atv and it almost broke me of the hobby. Nothing like getting a heavy machine in a position where you can't back out of, and then you are screwed.

There are many Max2s out there, great little machines, easy to work on, parts are available, and they are fairly inexpensive. Nothing maneuvers like a Max2. They are the biggest bang for the buck out there.

every one I find, the guy wants $1k more than most people on here say it's worth, or it's 4 hrs drive to look at it. I just need to find someone closer to ride with and see what I really want.

What is your current 6x6 budget? Are you mechanically inclined ( can you fix these)?
I know a guy who finds all the deals, perhaps he could could shoot you a link or 2 once we know this.

Haspin is just over a week away http://www.6x6world.com/forums/trail...pin-acres.html
If you show up there, someone will have an extra seat for you to ride along. You will be able to check out some MaxII's, MaxIV's, Mud Oxen, and Argo's. Somebody might even bring an Attex or Hustler if you are lucky. After the weekend of riding, you will be hooked.

Buy and sell to an Allis Collector!

The guys here give Terra tigers a bad rap! I'll give you more than that for it. If body is good and it has all axles and clutch shaft it's worth a couple hundred to AC collectors! We own a bunch of tigers! Only Bad thing is no reverse! Steering Clutches can be fixed. If you need any info on them, pm me.

I would like to have the Tigger myself. Just a little far to pick up. But go get some pics and for that money you can surely sell it and fund the one your looking for ! I had one with a 440 Berth motor in it and it was a Blast to play with. If you get it PM me as I may be interested ?
