Our Amphicat

Hi all, we purchased an amphicat that I assume has been rebuilt for racing maybe. It has a yamaha engine in it. I am posting some pictures of it. We havent tried it out yet since the clutch linkage has to be hooked up and the gas tank remounted. Grandpa got the hustler and I got amphicat, lol.
Cant wait to get this one going!

That amphicat that you recently picked up , looks like its in decent shape Hopefully it won,t take too much money to get it back in shape again . Its always good when some one takes an older amphib and puts new life in it .

That's funny, the engine cover on your machine looks like it came off an Attex. Either that or I've never noticed before how similar the two are.

hi! that is an attex cover. do you know what model it is? there is a tag on the frame near the 2nd clutch....I think i saw that cat on ebay several times

Well I tried to get some better pictures. I wasnt able to get under it to find the numbers but this plates is attached to the body. And yes we did get it off ebay. I gave 901.00 for it , I thought that was reasonable since I have been watching them for awhile. I knew we would have to do some work to it.
