picked up a 70's puma stalker made in elkheart IN at local auction friday. Relitivly simple machene. pics in the gallery

Wow. Looks pretty darn nice on the outside. How about some inside pictrues of what makes it go. Does it work?

took it apart over the weekend and started repairs. it's all there and will post pics of inside tomorrow.

There was another stalker in Flint I believe. It was posted in the classified here on 6x6world. It wasnt selling so you might get it cheap. Just thought I would let you know incase you need some parts or whatever.

this will show how simple this machene is. mostly go cart components. The engene is in the shop but you can see the rest. the engene is a 16 HP tucumpseh from 70's era so it may be original.the motor drives a small tranny that drives a shaft with 2 clutches and inverse clutches for breakes. any other aatv's set up this way?

Same transmission as the Coot and same clutch setup as the Sperry Rand Wedge.

The Wedge uses discs and calipers for braking (breaking ) I like the idea of the multi-disc for braking.
