  • My gotcha project

Current progress. Made a lightweight top, added some heat, green led lights, rubber floor, a jeep bench seat that I had to fab to fit and some off road lights to the front. Far from done but I love this thing.

That is a sweet engine cover, I wish I had one of those on mine.

I like it! It looks really good. What did you do for heat?

So far I just wired up one of the cheap harbor freight defroster/heaters. I made the cover from scratch using cardboard to mold and then fiberglassed it. Now I am debating about upgrading the current 8 hp Briggs that came with it to a 10 hp or stuffing a four stroke from a 4 wheeler and using the 5 speed tranny so I have reverse. Will have to build a chain drive pulley set up to make it work. Would be super cool, quieter and faster.

Do you also have a gotcha? If so I'm curious if you have had to replace the axle bearings? Mine leak and I'm trying to find replacement bearings? Any help would be appreciated?
