First of all, more power is always "cooler"... even if it is used inefficiently.

Unsure what you mean by jack shaft... but it sounds do able. Post a couple pics of your idea and I'm sure most of us will get the just of it.

You will be putting a lot of torque to the cone clutches as the polaris trans has a built in gear reduction. The TT trans works because of the minimal amount o torque from the 2 stroke motor. Any 4 stroke conversion will requiring beefing up the clutches and changing the jackshaft ratio.

ok I turned the 12 horse crank to fit the 2 stroke clutch but nobody has said anything about if i can buy a spring for the clutch to make it engage at a lower rpm i was playing with the lathe and a got a few extra cranks if a cant find spring/s for the clutch i took the clutch off the engine but have not took it apart to see the spring set up was waiting to see if anybody knew of the springs i need got the engine mount built i will try to post some pics if i get time got a little more work on the crank to make it perfect(got a 1969 craftsman bench lathe and i killed the belt making some bolts for a friend before i finished my crank)but if anybody can help with the springs it would be a great help thanks i will try and keep u all updated thanks

If you can't find springs; how about getting/making heavier/bigger counter-weights for your clutch. That would make it engage sooner.
It's all just nuts and bolts.
