Thanks Guys! It sure seems fast. I will have to confirm a GPS reading that I took a week ago that says it's fast. it's actually easy to drive. Braking is easy to control, accelerating out of a corner is a little twichy. It's a pig in the water. The tires are all wrong for the water. Any suggestions for tires? I think I will install chevrons for Phillipsburg. Any drivers out there that want to take a crack at games at Phillipsburg let me know. My reflexes are not the same as they were in the 70's.
If you're running with the same tires you had on at CR two years ago, I'd suggest switching sides (left and right). I think the paddles you have scoop up so much water that you're actually fighting inertia from the water that gets thrown forward when the paddles come out of the water.
I believe that with the scoops turned around (away from the water), they'll actually work better.
A big thankyou goes to Don for for taking the video.
My Scrambler now has a name. "Blackbird" I am not sure who came up with it Don? or 6x6? Thanks! The name fits.
JBF- The machine's way fast. The longer wheelbase seems to be much more stable than an Attex-esque stubby platform- hmmmm.... I didn't coin the Blackbird name, but I think I heard it first from George.
Whipper- If the track's smooth, you have your hands full, Buddy!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
(6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

George posted a picture of your scrambler as "Skunk works" and I agree it does have a SR-71ish look to it. I was really glad I got to see it in person, I had previously seen the picture George posted, but it is 1000 times better in person, especially since you have doen so much to it since then.
