  • Terra-Tank AKA mini SHERP

Discussing possible designs to mimic the SHERP on a small scale, here is what I came up with. Let me know what you think / if anyone would be interested in such a machine.

    Terra-Tank
    Amphibious 4x4 skid steer
Utilizes low pressure, high flotation 36” tall tires. An update on the classic 6x6. Twice the ground clearance, with reduced soil compaction. Thick ABS body or welded Aluminum.
Single seat, rear engine, high power LED lighting. Progressive styling with safety
    Weight Est: 1200 pounds
    Width: 5’
    Length: 7.5’
    Ground clearance 12.5"

Cool. What software do you use to create that model?

The machine looks sound, kind of a mix of a modern Coot and a 6x6 amphibious vehicle and a tractor.

Thanks, yea it is a bit Coot like, guess I'm biased lol

Also here is a very quick sketch of John Swenson's Max II with 44" tires.
