Hi everyone. I just purchased a passe par tout. price was right ,so I couldn't pass it up. I was told that these machines were amphibious. I don't know if that's true or not. what I am looking for is any info concerning maintenance, or a parts or owners manual for these machines. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks GreggV

There are some brochures on it in the brochure section: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/brand...acked-atv.html
If that's the same one?

I have an early model PPT which my father got for me 25 years ago. It has a single cylinder Sachs engine in it and was a great machine. For years it sat in my basement. Two years ago my father and I rebuilt the entire machine. New engine (Kohler K440), drive sprockets, springs, etc. It was a fun project.
You will love working on your machine. You have a model 620 which is a workhorse. If I had the money, I'd search for one. They are great in the snow and swamp. I am going to send you a PM of a guy who used to own the company when it was in Canada. Amazingly he still has parts for the machines.
Here is a video clip I took of my brother driving the machine yesterday:

I made myself a photo album here and posted up some pics of the machine after initial cleaning. I pulled out the battery tray from the front of the engine compartment in order to clean it... may end up relocating the battery as this spot where the battery goes would be great for an enclosed winch....

Yay, I got it running and driving. Overhauled the carb and fuel pump along with cleaning it all out.. it would only go in forward and reverse to start with... after figuring out the adjustments on the clutches and brake combinations I got left and eventually right turns working. then it was dark so will have to make some more adjustments today and try and get it dialed in .... also did new starter solenoid and key switch... I have a bunch of projects to try and get done the next couple weeks as grandma is here from CA to watch the kids... once that's done I will get some pics and video made up2000 Land Tamer with Tracks.

Thanks to Medic7594 for hooking me up with Bob Cantin's email, I sent him all the details of my machine and go a nice response as well as follow up answers to my questions. I initially asked him about adjusting the clutch brakes setup for turning. Reps there
here is a cut and paste of his details on my machine
You've purchased an early model 500 PPT, built on November 20, 1974. Unit was shipped to our distributor in Rapid City, South Dakota. There's no magic in setting the steering on that machine, however, I would suggest you take the whole foot brake assembly and chuck it in the garbage. It will interfere with the steering of the machine, and even makes setting it all up somewhat difficult!
It was installed in Quebec against my wishes, and proved to be nothing but trouble!
I still have a lot of parts for the machine2000 Land Tamer with Tracks.
